Adoption Process

If you are interested in the July 2027 litter, please reach out to me to join the contact list. I will contact those people first before opening the waitlist. The contact list shows your interest without requiring a deposit. I do not take deposits for the waitlist until we have a litter underway. When I know we have a litter in the works, I'll set up an interview. We'd like to get to know you, and I'm sure you'd like to get to know more about us and the puppies. We prioritize matching individuals with a dog who will be a good fit. After the interview, if you would like to reserve your puppy, you may place a deposit to hold your place on the waitlist. We take Venmo or cash. I encourage visits throughout the process.

Once the deposit is received, each family will receive a free Puppy Culture class "With Open Arms and a Level Head." I require this class to be completed before the puppy goes home. It's so helpful in preparing families for the daily care of the puppies as well as for basic training. This is the same training methodology the puppies will receive from birth.

At about seven weeks of age, you may visit or video call to be matched with your puppy. The matching process is a combination of the breeder selecting puppies that would be a good fit for a family and the family choosing from that selection. Puppies will be matched in the order they are reserved.  Puppies will go home with Limited AKC Registration completed.
